Creating
a Single Condition Pattern in Quantum Charts 1.1 *
To begin this tutorial you should have
already created, or be viewing a new chart. 1.
Click
on any bar in the chart to view conditions that are true of that bar. 2.
All
of the bar’s conditions will appear in the “Conditions” area on the bottom,
left-hand side of the screen (just below the chart). 3.
Click
the check box immediately to the left of your desired condition. 4.
Notice
that your strategy box (immediately to the right of the categories section) has
two different types of operators. Available to you are the options of using
either the “and” or the “or” operator. 5.
Drag
the condition from the condition area to the “Strategies” box and drop it
directly over the “And” or the “Or” operator. 6.
Below
is an example of what your strategy box should like if you dragged the
condition to either the “and” or the “or” function.
* Optional
- Once your condition has been dragged over either the “and” or the “or” operator,
you have the option of adjusting certain features of your condition by
selecting its parameters in the “properties” box (located on the lower left
hand corner of the screen) and editing those parameters with either the
drop-down menu or by manually entering your changes. 7.
Once
you have added your desired conditions, press the “Apply” button on the upper
right hand side of the strategy box. 8.
All
of the times your pattern has occurred will be highlighted in a tan color on
the chart. 9.
To
view analysis of how your pattern has performed historically, click the
“Analysis” tab in the middle of the screen (directly below the chart on the
left-hand side). 10. All statistics regarding your entry
will be listed on the analysis page. For
